Jewelry Designer Teresa Gonzalez
Teresa Gonzalez (TeGo) found her passion for jewelry when she moved to Taxco de Alarcón, Mexico. She entered the Escuela de Artes Plásticas at UNAM in Taxco at the age of 15. Later on, she became an Industrial Designer at the Instituto Tecnológico de Occidente in Guadalajara and took postgraduate studies in Jewelry Design at Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School Academy in Florence, Italy.
An entrepreneurial spirit combined with a formidable talent has led her to new challenges, creating fashion-forward jewelry with innovative techniques.
TeGo worked with institutions such as CONACYT, gaining recognition as an Innovative Company of Technology. She has also ventured into the interior design, furniture, footwear, ceramics as well as teaching fields. She uses a wide variety of materials for her creations which makes her truly a versatile designer.
For Teresa Gonzalez, a blank page is her motivation, the beginning of a new creation. Faith, life, and gratitude to create, to learn, to enjoy and to dream are her principles. Designing for Teresa is an opportunity to satisfy her passions. She believes that “design brings dreams and imagination to reality, to be enjoyed and to provoke happiness.”
