Mexican Jewelry designer Ezequiel Tapia began his career as a goldsmith apprentice with a specialty in the embossing technique in the ExelTapia family workshop in Taxco. Since he was a child, he enjoyed spending time at his father's lapidary workshop in Taxco, where he learned different techniques and developed his passion for jewelry, its making and design.
He has a wide variety of collections that reflect the pride in his heritage, combined with a mystical and strong world that emphasizes modernism, uniqueness, innovation and class."When I'm creating, I'm inspired by nature, flowers, textures, glaciers, the desert, and the dunes. Contemporary, pre-Hispanic, and Egyptian architectural features also inspire me. Making my own collections is something I'm very passionate about", says Tapia
