Born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, and raised in the heart of Taxco de Alarcón, Fernando Viveros is a master jeweler with more than 30 years of experience in the art of silver and gold craftsmanship. His journey began at just eight years old, when he started as an apprentice in his family’s workshop under the guidance of Maestro Gildardo Jaimes Hernández. By the age of 15, Fernando had already established his own workshop, collaborating with both national and international jewelry houses.
Over the years, Fernando mastered a wide range of traditional techniques—such as filigree, repoussé, embossing, lost wax casting, chiseling, stone inlay, and lapidary work—blending them with his own innovative approach. His skill extends beyond silver and gold, as he also works with copper, brass, natural stones, shells, wood, and feathers, creating pieces that bridge tradition and artistic exploration.
