My Story and Why Taxco
Before making Sherwood Park my home in 2023, I spent nine years in Calgary and lived in several countries around the world.
Growing up in Mexico City, trips to the beach meant traveling south to Acapulco in the state of Guerrero. Inland, in that same state, lies Taxco — a small colonial town nestled in the mountains. From a very young age, I grew up visiting Taxco and fell in love with its rich silversmithing heritage, extraordinary quality, and unmatched artistry.

Preserving Living Mastery
My collection is dedicated to the living Taxco masters of today.
While history and jewelry collectors around the world remember iconic names like William Spratling, Hector Aguilar, or Antonio Pineda, today’s town is filled with living artisans whose extraordinary skill in many cases sadly remains hidden behind their workshop walls. Facing pressure from mass production, many are forced to craft simple market trinkets just to feed their families.
My mission is to offer unique, high-quality silver pieces—some set with natural stones, others featuring intricate designs crafted by skilled hands using traditional techniques while ensuring these incredible masters receive fair compensation so they can focus on true silversmithing artistry.

In the jewelry world, Taxco (pronounced Tahs-ko) is legendary—a historic mountain town in Guerrero, Mexico, famed for producing some of the finest silver craftsmanship in the world.
While the name might be unfamiliar to many, Taxco’s silversmiths have spent generations perfecting hand-forged techniques that transform raw sterling silver into true wearable art. I invite you to explore the story behind this incredible town and its master artisans.
